The new $200m Baiada facility is just 3 min. from the Tamworth Warehouse Project.
UNBELIEVABLE LOCATION !!!
AUSTRALIA’S largest poultry meat producer, Baiada, is moving forward with a major expansion in New South Wales’ New England region, committing over $300 million to build and upgrade facilities.
Construction has already commenced at Baida’s state-of-the-art processing plant in Tamworth. The new facility, expected to be completed in early 2026, includes some of the most innovative and sustainable food technology in the world with a fully automated cold store and online traceability as well as the use of renewable energy from its established wastewater treatment plant.
Once complete, the facility will create over 700 local jobs.As you will see from the map below, the new $200m Baiada facility is just 3 min from the Tamworth Warehouse Project.
We expect strong leasing interest from businesses that will work and partner with Baiada.
Just another 1km up the road is the Oakburn Park Motorsport Complex + Tamworth Motorcycle Club. This type of warehouse space is perfect for business (and competitors) in the motorsport industry.
The Tawmorth Regional Airport is directly across the road from the Tamworth Warehouse Project. Once again, This type of warehouse space is perfect for businesses involved in and supporting the local aviation industry.
TAMWORTH GROWTH...
Tamworth is experiencing a HUGE amount of growth in the residential real estate section currently - even with the past 2+ years of high rates and issues in the construction industry.
There is 19% growth expected over the next 3 years - which is exceptional!
These figures are now expected to increase as we should (hopefully) see interest rates slowly reduce over the next few years - this is likely to create a smaller housing boom / in a location that is already thriving!
The increase in population is undoubtedly going to create an increase in businesses looking for warehouse and retail space.
Construction is now picking back up in Tamworth and this type of warehouse space is perfect for businesses involved in the construction industry, trades, material storage etc.
